What do we do?

Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel software defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.

What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Material Review Board Coordinator. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our facility in Melbourne, Florida, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, Virginia, and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

The Non-Conformance Material Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the Non-Conformance Material (NCM) cage, managing related documentation, and conducting periodic audits to ensure the smooth operation of the NCM process. Job responsibilities include:

  • NCM Cage Management: Efficiently manage the NCM cage, including organization, storage, and well-labeled for easy identification of non-conforming materials.
  • Documentation Handling: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for non-conforming materials, including inspection reports, disposition records, and related paperwork.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct periodic audits of the NCM process to ensure that it complies with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation Control: Implement a systematic method for controlling NCM-related documentation, ensuring easy access, retrieval, and retention of records.
  • Dispositions: Assist in determining the appropriate disposition of non-conforming materials, such as return to supplier, scrap, or rework, under the guidance of higher-level quality personnel.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to non-conforming materials and provide status updates as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements for NCM documentation, storage, and tracking to enhance efficiency.
  • Training: Assist in training personnel regarding NCM procedures and proper documentation requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on NCM audits, trends, and compliance for review by higher-level quality personnel

Basic Requirements

  • US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirement
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in non-conformance material processes
  • Ability to lift and occasionally maneuver material weighing up to 50 pounds
